Dear Sunil,

Now that the wedding of our daughter is over and the couple are already off to Maldives for honeymoon, I wanted to write a short note to let you know how much we appreciate all your help and excellent catering for our daughter’s wedding reception at the Westin, Charlotte.

The food was just fabulous, everyone loved it including our European and American guests.  The quality of the various foods served was just excellent and each item had the unique authentic taste and spice levels that we are used to in India.  Also the quantity was enough.

If you ever need to use us as a reference, please do.  Your catering was a hit with all our guests, young and old alike.  Thank you very much for your personally attending to all details.  We will not look at any other name for our future catering needs, it will always be “Saffron”.

Just had Indian food for the very first time! It was awesome, great experience. Definitely would recommend to anyone in the Charlotte area looking to try something new. The spice level was great, the lamb is perfectly looked and the sauces are simply amazing. Great customer service, everyone is super friendly. Great first time experience!    — Keianna Little

This is the best Indian food restaurant I’ve ever been to. Wonderful food & service!! They have a very good handle on their spice & flavor palate. The decor and atmosphere is romantic yet family friendly. We have enjoyed every meal here!!   — David Arnce

We were disappointed with every restaurant we tried in Charlotte city. This is a very special and unique Indian restaurant. Most Indian restaurants serve dishes within a narrow range of flavors – a range that those of us who eat in the U.S. have grown accustomed and used to. It’s familiar and perhaps a bit boring. Well, get ready for a new adventure if you go here. They have all the traditional dishes – but they come with a twist, a spice, a flavor, a sauce, that you likely haven’t seen, smelled, or tasted before. I had the Lamb Rogan Josh which was scrumptious. I can’t remember what my wife had to eat, because I obsessed and cherished over my own so. But I do remember that she was very impressed. I personally think this place is magisterial in their Indian cooking. If you don’t know what that means, I’ll just say the cuisine here rocks. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. Wish they were located in my hometown. This one is an exception. You’ll be in for a treat if you’re in the mood for Indian food. We love this place & will continue to come back!!  — Vikas Sharma
